My Foolproof Anti-Pimple Routine


As far as I could remember, my teenage years didn’t happen without the pains of having a couple of huge pimples on my forehead, cheeks and other parts of my face. Sadly, those unflattering bumps have carried on to my life up to the present. I am unfortunate to be one of those adults who have pimples as one of their daily obstacles in being happy. However, as I scour everywhere to find the most effective cure for this red and inflamed problem, I have come across an interesting detox information about apples. This detox journey led me to the discovery that apple is my foolproof cure to pimples!

I was actually looking for a detox recipe when I found a few blogs about this somewhat routine involving apples. First of all, I wanted to give credit to those blogs but I didn’t bookmark them because at that time I didn’t have any plans on blogging on it yet. Anyway, according to the “experts” the most effective way to detox your body is by eating 3-4 apples a day for 5 days and then on the 5th day, you’ll have to take a spoonful of Epsom salt an hour before you sleep. Finally, just before you sleep, you have to take a spoonful of olive oil salt. It’s that simple.

The thing isn’t even a recipe, it’s a no-brainer and practically effortless. It’s even noted by the author that you can continue to eat as usual. Since this is the easiest detox recipe/routine I could find, I tried it. And to my surprise, the routine of eating a couple of apples a day cleared my pimples on the third day! I didn’t even get to the point of doing the olive oil and Epsom salt. It’s because I haven’t gathered the courage to eat a spoonful of olive oil and Epsom salt. Eeew. But then again, apples are great. It really is true that an apple a day keeps the doctor away and if you eat a couple more, will keep the derma away. So there you have it, just try at your own prerogative. Enjoy your apples!
